What happens at Sharky Swing?
Lesson
The lessons at Sharky Swing are defined as 'Open Levels.' Meaning the instructor will assume you know your basic patterns (push, pass, whip).
The instructor's lesson are built around concepts that all dancers can take something away from.
At this time, Sharky Swing does not have an 'Intro' class. We hope wecan bring to you in the future. There is a lot of beginner classes in the Bay Area. If you are looking to get started, send a message and will provide you resources.
DJs and Social Dance
Sharky Swing brings out different DJs every month to keep you on the dance floor. During the three hour dance you will hear a large variety of music. If you need a break there is a smaller room to enjoy snacks.
Special Dances: Prom Edition & More
Sharky Swing is coming into some fun annual traditions. This past May we had our first Prom and it was a huge success. Very excited to add it to the calendar in 2027.
Another annual tradition of Sharky Swing is a brunch dance. This afternoon dance has been a yearly highlight getting the opportunity to dance in the afternoon.
